What happens if my pet becomes ill or injured?
Your
pet's well being is most important to us! In the event of an emergency
we will take your pet to the vet of your choice or the nearest one
available. We will contact you and stay with your pet until the appropriate
action is taken. We will have a 24 hour vet on call. We will also discuss
this plan at our consultation.
|
 |
What is your plan if a natural disaster or personal emergency would happen
to occur?
As we know, sometimes the unthinkable can always
happen (hurricanes, snow,
ice, etc.). At our consultation, we will discuss a back up plan as to handle
these situations should they occur. You will be able to go away with total
peace of mind that your pet's well being is taken care of.
|
 |
Can I contact you while we are away?
Please feel free to contact us as much as you
like (we encourage you to). We understand being pet owners ourselves as to how it feels to leave your
pets behind. We also will provide a daily log as to how the visits go.
|
 |
What happens if I can't return on the date I'm supposed to?
We understand things don't always go as planned. We will continue service
until you notify us that you have returned home. We do ask for as much
notice as possible though.
|
 |
What animals do you care for?
We care for dogs, cats, fish, and most other small domestic animals. We will
discuss as to exactly what services you want provided.
|
 |
Will anyone else be caring for my pets while I'm gone?
For the well being and comfort of your pets, it is best to have the same person providing their care.
Only in emergency situations will someone else come in to care for your pets.
|
 |
Is it ok to have you share sitting duties with our friend/neighbor?
We
are sorry, but we cannot accommodate this request for
liability reasons.
|
 |
How
early should we book visits?
Always plan as
early as possible for the care o your pets. If you
haven't had an initial consultation, I suggest planning
several months in advance of your travel plans o even when
you move to a new area. It is always best to be well
prepared in case of a need for emergency
travel. Once you become a client, I would suggest scheduling
you pet care at the same time you book your travel
plans. Many clients book their holiday travel a year
in advance and the major holidays will book up
quickly. However, if we have availability, we will
take last minute reservations.
|
 |
What if I need your services at the last minute?
Once we have had an initial consultation, we will
always do our best to accommodate your needs. It is much easier to honor last
minute and emergency services when we have your key on file.
|
 |
What will happen at the initial consultation?
We will explain our services in detail and discuss your pets needs,
habits,
and schedules. We will also go over the necessary forms and take the time
for you and your pets to get to know us. This consultation is free to you,
with no obligation. Please, only serious inquiries.

Other sitters charge extra on holidays,
what is your policy?
We do not charge extra for our services on holidays. However we will require
a deposit during these times that will be non-refundable if canceled less
than 7 days prior to the first visit.
